Heather Dunn
Chairman of Westcombe Business Research


Heather has had over 30 years experience in the Market Research industry, with management appointments in three major companies. Before establishing Westcombe she was Deputy Field Manager of Dataplan, Fieldwork Organiser of the BBC Audience Research Department and Field Director for Research Surveys of Great Britain (RSGB).

She is a Fellow of the Market Research Society and has served on the committee of the British Market Research Association (BMRA) and has been Honorary Secretary, Deputy Chairman and Chairman and continues to play an active part in the Educational and business functions of the Association.

Westcombe Business Research Limited is a founder member of the Alliance of International Market Research Institutes (AIMRI) of which she was Chairman for five years until recently.

 

Jonathan Wheeler
Managing Director

Jonathan holds a BA (Hons) degree in French studies.

Jonathan worked in France for three years for a company importing and distributing sports and leisure equipment. Following this he was for eight years a Company Director and General Manager
Of a Private Health Care unit, employing sixty staff.

He brings to this post a wealth of experience in business and administrative functions.

Jonathan is a council member of the British Market Research Association (BMRA) with specific responsibility for marketing and internet development.

He is head of AIMRI’s Global SIG for IT and Telecommunications.

 
Helen Wanford
Research Director

Helen holds a Bsc degree in Human Relations, having specialised in Industrial Psychology and has over 30 years of research experience.

Helen has worked in the Market Research Department of Nestlé UK, and a number of Market Research Agencies, as well as acting as an Independent Research Consultant for 15 years before joining Westcombe Business Research Limited in that capacity in 1985.

As Research Director she is responsible for all fieldwork, preparation for data processing and will ensure delivery of high quality research within client timescales.

Helen is a full member of the Market Research Society, a member of the AQR and has been Chair of the MRS Business and Industrial Group and was the key player in the development of the new Business Intelligence Group (BIG)

Simon Dunn

Simon spent ten years in publishing, working on Campaign and Harpers and Queen among others. He formed The New Business Consultancy in 1990 with clients such as Lowe Howard-Spink and Halpin Grey Vermeer before joining Westcombe six years later to run sister company, Business to Business Marketing.

As Field Director, he is also responsible for overseeing the field-force.

He is a member of the Marketing Society.
